First and foremost, God is the CEO of Captivated Apparel. I'm just honored that he decided to partner with little ole me! Over the past 3 years my relationship with God has blossomed into a beautiful fairytale happy ever after type story. No, its not always pretty and perfect but God is truly who he says he is. The moment I allowed God to captivate me fully is when I truly started understanding and walking in my purpose.

I came to Atlanta in December 2017 with the hopes of starting a hat line but I couldn't see anything clearly. I had no name, no logo, maybe little vision as far as design ideas, but that was it. So I said you know what, I feel like I'm missing God. I idolized having a business over my relationship with God. So after church hopping I found a church home. I was truly guided there by God. That's when I fully surrendered. I found community that I didn't know I needed. The name Captivated came to me through a worship song and "By the spirit of God" came through a worship song and confirmed through a sermon. So basically I received everything I needed through God once I realized he is and will always be above everything.

Through this clothing brand my hopes are to spread God's love, word, and promises through style and scripture. I always thought I had to look or be a certain way in order to receive God's love but the truth is God wants our hearts before anything and he will work on the rest.
